Noopept from Liftmode Review Draft

There is a varying specifics on what criteria must be met for a substance to be considered a nootropic.  Condensing the definition to some agreed upon characteristics, would be:

1. Enhanced Learning and/or memory
2. Enhanced cognitive performance (sometimes in disrupting environments)
3. Neuroprotective qualities (sometimes not considered with quasi-nootropics such as Modafinil)
4. Very low toxicity and overall little effect vascular system

The first drug to be coined a "nootropic" was piracetam, first synthesized in 1964.  Now piracetam has a wide range of uses and it's method of action is complex.  I will explore some of these topics and how the relate to unconventional use in another post.

The "Racetam" family all share the pryrrolidone nucleus, and some have effect profiles ranging from anticonvulsant to stimulant.

In my 12 years of research with nootropics myself and my collegues have used various racetams under varying circumstances.  Piracetam was always a good starting point and although doses would sometimes range into the 6000mg range, the effect profile was well rounded and predictable.  I personally am quite responisive to racetams and for most purposes would not exceed 800mg.

The three others that were occasionally used personally or recommended for a patient were, aniracetam, pramiracetam, and phenylpiracetam.  The last peaked my interest when I read about the  Russian Olympic silver medalist, being disqualified in 2006 after testing positive for phenylpiracetam.  This one has supposed stimulatory effects but I never observed any.

Fast forward, now we have a new racetam on the market that is an RX in Russia (where many a good supplement derive,)  but not controlled over here.  There are many studies on it's neuroprotective properties, ability to reverse brain trama, and just about everything positive from good ol piracetam (unlike some of the other analogous disappointments released over the years)

Okay, well so it is equal to or better than piracetam, whats the big deal?  Well, some studies claim 1000x potency!!!  I find that 10-20mg is equal to about 1500mg-3000mg of piracetam.

Now let me review the noopept I purchased from Liftmode.com.  As usual with this vender everything was top-notch.  You don't have to worry about getting a container of god-knows-what inactive powder.  The 5g jar I purchased came with purity test information, (over 99%).  Although this bit of noopept could easily last me a couple years, there are other interesting products they have for sale I am going to try out soon.  After trying their phenibut multiple times, and being very impressed with this noopept, I know I can rely on them for value, purity, reliability.

Although I highly recommend dosing with an accurate scale with miligram resolution, it did include some scoops that allow for approximate measurements.  One 8~12mg, the larger 50~90mg.
